Miner Room

The Prospector room is done in the fashion of the 1880s, only with a little more comfort. The antique brass bed headboards reflects what you have have seen at that time. Also an antique dresser, from c 1870, designed with full hinged mirrors is in the room. Just imagine what it was like to use the mirrors as you were getting ready to go to the Tombstone Theater.
But the new additions are that we have installed a private flagstone patio for the guest’s use and we found an old stand up radio and an ice box for Night stands.
The room has a king size bed but can be split into twin size beds.
The room is accented with antique scales, mining equipment and various minerals for you to look at. There are also old mining shares from Arizona mines that can be seen. The bathroom sink has been custom made from an old antique chest of drawers and a copper top and sink.
The vistas of the Wetstone Mountains, home of Kartchner Caverns and the Huachuca Mountain to the south can be seen from the window of the Prospector Room. During your stay you may be lucky and catch one of the spectacular Arizona sunsets.
