The Prospector room is done in the fashion of the early 1900s, only with a little more comfort. The antique brass bed headboards reflects what you have have seen at that time. The king size bed but can be split into twin size beds. An antique dresser, from c 1870, designed with full sized hinged mirrors is in the room. Just imagine what it was like to use the mirrors as you were getting ready to go to the Tombstone Theater. The ceiling for the room is an original tin ceiling that has been restored from c 1895 and was salvaged from the Glendale Arizona Courthouse during renovations.

The room is accented with antique scales, mining equipment and various minerals for you to look at. There are also old mining shares from Arizona mines that can be seen. The bathroom sink has been custom made from an old antique chest of drawers and a copper top and sink.

To accent the bed, we found an old stand up radio and an ice box for night stands. While the bath has some old clothing hanging up to dry.
There is a private flagstone patio with table and chairs for our guest’s use.

The vistas of the Whetstone Mountains, home of Kartchner Caverns and the Huachuca Mountain to the south can be seen from the window of the Prospector Room. During your stay you may be lucky and catch one of the spectacular Arizona sunsets.
