The mission room is done in the fashion of the old Spanish padres, only with a lot more comfort. The hand carved wooden headboard reflects what you have have seen at that time. Also the old church chairs along with the stand fit into the tradition that you would expect in this room.
The niche over the door holds a hand carved Santo.
The room has a comfortable queen size bed.
The doorway leads out of the room to the private area of the covered porch with chairs and a table The window has the view the cottonwood tree that are aligned along the San Pedro River. The backdrop is the Dragoon Mountains, where Cochise’s Stronghold is located. At sunset the mountains turn purple and pink in an amazing blaze of color. During your stay you may be lucky and catch one of the spectacular Arizona sunsets.
